The guesthouse did not provide a daily routine for room cleaning, including the bathroom bins, which could have been maintained more often.

The path to the beach was not very clean and could be quite disgusting at times. The location also meant you had to cross a busy road to get to the beach, which was not always easy.

The highlight of my stay was the beautiful private courtyard swimming pool. It was like a tropical paradise with passion fruit trees, star fruit trees, and even peacocks and parrots wandering around. The service provided by Kavindu, the host, was exceptional. He was always there to help and made sure that my every need was met. The breakfast served at the hotel was the best I had during my entire trip to Sri Lanka, with a five-course meal cooked to order. The only minor issue I had was with the shower, but it was quickly resolved with no hassle at all. I would wholeheartedly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a beautiful and personalized experience in Mirissa.
